I noticed it a while ago that there was something familiar about Shin Dong Wook when he smiled but I just recently realized what it was. He totally looks like Ji Hyun Woo. After he cut his hair it was wicked obvious.
Pretty much I’ve just been obsessed with Shin Dong Wook lately, so these are just a couple more things I found on him:
yeeeaahh….I know its supposed to be an honor and everything to be a model for Andre Kim, but seriously….is it really worth the embarrassment? For real. Even Shin Dong Wook can’t save outfits like these.
Lately I’ve been watching Cloud Stairs religiously. It’s starting to get a little slower now, but for like 10 episodes I would get all overly excited to watch. I really don’t know why it got such crappy ratings in Korea.
This is an MV with Lee Soo Kyung and Baek Hyun. I guess Shin Dong Wook made friends with this group at a gym and they gave him their CD. So since him, Lee Soo Kyung, and Baek Hyun were all friends they decided to do the MV together. There’s a lot going on at once but I like it. Baek Hyun’s character is the most evil of evil wankers though. Crazy.

Lordy lordy lordy…have you SEEN him in SoulMate…it’s so special…and epic…no that’s not the word…it’s RAW…it’s good it’s got power and strength in it, although Ryohei doesn’t act very well, the cast is awesomely funny and romantic…passionate so to say…it’s a definite MUST SEE!!!!!!
I also liked Cloud Staircase & am surprised you indicated here that it didn’t get a good response from Korea? I think it’s one of the best kdramas i’ve seen! I liked Shin Dong Wook & HJH chemistry - it’s a beautiful story! I highly recommend it!
I still couldn’t get over the fact that Shin Dong Wok who was great in Cloud Stairs or Staircase did not even get nominated for his role as a young (unlicensed doctor) doctor in Cloud! I really think he deserved the best actor award for his role in Cloud & this drama is one of my favorites & one of my 10 best K-dramas of all time! I loved it so much, the story, the script, let alone the actors Shin Dong & Han Ji Hye plus the other two actors, including the chief doctor of the small island! Actually a sequel would be good! Love you SDW! Aja
Re Cloud Stairs - I heard the reason why it did not get a good rating in Korea was because of Ju Mong another Korean classic since Jewel in the Palace. Presumably, Ju Mong was aired at same time CS hence JM beats CS! That’s really too bad cause I really think Cloud Staircase was just a poignant love story & the chemistry between SDW & HJH was just superb! Best Actor award should have been given to Shin Dong! But in your fans’ hearts you’re the Best Actor!

I just started watching cloud staircase and being an OR nurse by profession, i am really enjoying the plot (not much of the OR scenes though… : > ). I love shin dong wook as much as i did in soulmates. I find him fresh and he lets out a powerful aura on screen. Humanity is exemplified here.
